James & Liz - Zero to 10K in 10 Weeks

Why are we planning to run around Cornwall Airport runway?
Going from running rookies to 10k completers in 10 weeks for Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust
Raising Funds For Cornwall Air Ambulance Heli Appeal because they need £2.5 million for a new air ambulance
Liz and I are not runners (you just have to look at me to tell that!) but we have decided to help raise funds for the Cornwall Air Ambulance New Heli Appeal by running in the Cornwall Air Ambulance 10K Runway Runaround - with just 10 weeks training!
This isn’t your everyday 10k route, we’ll be running along and around Newquay Airport. Let's hope we can get around before the first flight needs to land!
Several years ago one of our best friends was on holiday on the Isles of Scilly when he collapsed in agony with what turned out to be a perforated bowel. If it wasn't for the speedy response of the Cornwall Air Ambulance collecting him and flying him directly to Treliske Hospital he wouldn't be with us today.
The Cornwall Air Ambulance is a vital life-saving service for residents and visitors to Cornwall and the Heli Appeal aims to raise £2.5 million for a new-state-of-the-art air ambulance by 1st April 2020.
This is our small way of helping with that.
If you could donate a small amount it can make a great difference.
